Hot Properties!, is just that. It consists of a series or collection of items that are extremely “hot” or “trendy” at a particular moment in time. The collection can include of everything from How the Grinch Stole Christmas lighted buildings and accessories to Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring hinged boxes, Barbie, M&M’s and more! The designs are intended to appeal to adults and children, alike. For the purpose of this publication, only those items that include lighted buildings, coordinating accessories or animated pieces are listed in this section. While other, actual, village collections may exist or coordinate with these designs they are listed here as Department 56 recognizes them and not considered actual parts of the other village series.
